He practiced a unique fighting style utilizing Lightning Release chakra to augment his physical abilities, notably his "Lightning Release Armor" which provided exceptional speed and durability. He valued strength and believed in direct action, often clashing with those who favored strategic planning over brute force.

A was the foster brother of Killer Bee, the Eight-Tails Jinchuriki. Their bond was exceptionally strong, forged through rigorous training and mutual respect. Protecting Bee was a constant priority, and his capture by Akatsuki fueled A's determination to defeat the organization and protect the ninja world from their threat.

He ultimately sacrificed his left arm to stop Sasuke Uchiha, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the safety of others. He eventually passed the title of Raikage to Darui.
