Jirobo is a character from the anime and manga series, Naruto. He is a member of the Sound Four, a group of elite ninja loyal to Orochimaru. He served as a bodyguard and enforcer, specializing in earth-based techniques.

Jirobo's defining physical characteristic is his immense size and muscular build. This reflects his fighting style, which relies heavily on brute strength and physical attacks. His Kekkei Genkai allows him to absorb chakra from opponents, further bolstering his power.

During the Sasuke Retrieval Arc, Jirobo confronted the team led by Shikamaru Nara. He trapped them within an earth dome, intending to drain their chakra. He was ultimately defeated by Choji Akimichi, who utilized his Butterfly Mode to unleash his full potential and overcome Jirobo's defenses.

Although ultimately defeated, Jirobo represents a significant threat and contributes to the challenges faced by the Konoha ninja in their mission to retrieve Sasuke Uchiha.
