Michael "Mike" Wheeler is a central character in the Netflix science fiction horror series, Stranger Things. Born in 1971, Mike resides in Hawkins, Indiana, with his parents, Karen and Ted, and siblings, Nancy and Holly.
At the start of the series, Mike is a dedicated Dungeon & Dragons player and the leader of his close-knit friend group comprised of Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, and Will Byers. His life is irrevocably altered by the disappearance of Will and the subsequent arrival of Eleven, a young girl with psychokinetic abilities.
