Biography:
Vecna is the primary antagonist in the Netflix TV show, Stranger Things. He debuted in a cameo in Season 1 (2016) but became a significant presence in Season 4 (2022).
Originally known as Henry Creel, Vecna was born with powerful psychic abilities. His powers developed to a point where he displayed telekinesis and mind control, which he used to torment his family and ultimately murder them.
Dr. Martin Brenner, recognizing Henry's potential, took him into Hawkins National Laboratory, designated him 001, and attempted to control his abilities. This attempt led to a confrontation where Henry was defeated and banished to the Upside Down. Over time, he transformed into the monstrous entity known as Vecna.
In the Upside Down, Vecna discovered the Mind Flayer and used his abilities to manipulate it, becoming the mastermind behind the Upside Down's attacks on Hawkins, Indiana.
