Nakia is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), portrayed by Lupita Nyong'o.

She first appeared in the *Black Panther* movie (2018). Nakia is a Wakandan war dog and T'Challa's former lover. She is known for her skills in espionage and combat and her strong sense of justice.

Following T'Challa's death, Nakia plays a significant role in *Black Panther: Wakanda Forever* (2022), aiding Shuri and Wakanda in their time of need. She is instrumental in helping Shuri find the herb in Haiti needed to become the new Black Panther.
