Riri Williams, known as Ironheart, is a brilliant young engineer who reverse-engineers Iron Man's armor to create her own. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), she first appears in the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022), played by Dominique Thorne.
This iteration of the character is a student at MIT. Her engineering prowess attracts the attention of both Wakanda and the nation of Talokan, led by Namor. She designs and builds a vibranium detecting machine, which is noticed by Wakanda, and which the Talokanians seek to destroy.
