Hydro-Man, also known as Morris Bench, is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, although his MCU representation is significantly different from his comic book counterpart.
In the film *Spider-Man: Far From Home*, "Hydro-Man" appears as a large water elemental that attacks Venice. However, this creature isn't actually Morris Bench. It's an illusion created by Mysterio and his team using Stark technology, primarily drones, to fabricate a false threat.
Therefore, the MCU version lacks the established backstory of Morris Bench, the disgruntled crewman exposed to experimental radiation that transformed him into a living body of water. He is simply a fabricated villain used to manipulate and deceive the public, specifically to elevate Mysterio as a hero.
