Haruno Sakura is a major character in the Naruto anime and manga series created by Masashi Kishimoto. She first appears in Naruto episode 1, "Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!", as a genin (beginner ninja) assigned to Team 7 alongside Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, under the leadership of Kakashi Hatake.

Initially portrayed as being infatuated with Sasuke and dismissive of Naruto, Sakura undergoes significant character development throughout the series. Recognizing her own weaknesses and dependence on her teammates, she dedicates herself to becoming a powerful ninja in her own right.

Sakura specializes in medical ninjutsu, training under the legendary Tsunade, one of the Sannin. She becomes a highly skilled medical ninja, capable of healing severe injuries and possessing immense physical strength.

In Naruto Shippuden, Sakura demonstrates her growth and maturity, playing a crucial role in battles against formidable opponents and providing vital support to Naruto and Sasuke. She ultimately becomes an integral member of the Allied Shinobi Forces, fighting to protect the ninja world.
