Biography:
Kurapika is a central character in the anime and manga series Hunter x Hunter. He makes his first appearance in the series in episode 4 of the 1999 anime adaptation and episode 6 of the 2011 adaptation.
He is the last survivor of the Kurta Clan, a group known for their unique scarlet eyes that appear when emotionally aroused. The clan was massacred by the Phantom Troupe, a notorious group of thieves, for their valuable eyes.
Fueled by vengeance, Kurapika becomes a Hunter to pursue the Phantom Troupe and recover the stolen eyes of his people. He is intelligent, strategic, and possesses a strong sense of justice, though his desire for revenge often clouds his judgment. He is a Specialist Nen user, capable of conjuring chains with unique abilities specifically designed to target and defeat the Phantom Troupe.
