Toguro, primarily known as Younger Toguro, is a central antagonist from the anime and manga series Yu Yu Hakusho. Initially a human martial artist, Toguro harbored an intense desire for power and sought to transcend human limitations.

Driven by the trauma of his dojo being destroyed and his students brutally murdered by a demon, Kairen, Toguro, along with his brother, chose to transform themselves into demons under the guidance of Tarukane. This transformation granted him immense strength and regenerative abilities.

Toguro's pursuit of power led him to become a key player in the Dark Tournament, where he served as the leader of Team Toguro and ultimately faced Yusuke Urameshi in a climactic battle. He wished to be pushed to his absolute limit and believed Yusuke held the key to achieving this.

Throughout the series, Toguro is portrayed as a cold, calculating, and ruthless individual. He is obsessed with strength and views humanity as inherently weak. His actions and motivations are rooted in his past trauma and his relentless quest for ultimate power, making him a compelling and formidable adversary.
