Raúl Alonso Jiménez Rodríguez, commonly known as Raúl Jiménez, is a Mexican professional footballer. Born on May 5, 1991, he plays as a striker.
Jiménez began his career with Club América in Mexico, where he won the Liga MX title. He then moved to Europe, playing for Atlético Madrid and Benfica.
He achieved significant success with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League after initially joining on loan and then permanently in 2019. A serious head injury in 2020 sidelined him for a prolonged period, but he eventually returned to playing.
He currently plays for Fulham FC and has made over 100 appearances for the Mexican national team, representing his country at multiple major tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup.
