Joker, also known as the Smiling Clown, is a Hunter character in the asymmetric horror game, Identity V. His real name and backstory are shrouded in mystery, but it is heavily implied he was once a circus performer who suffered a tragic accident. This event left him disfigured and fueled a deep-seated rage and desire for revenge.

Driven mad by his experience, Joker became obsessed with building a perfect "rocket chair," a device used in the game to eliminate survivors. He believes achieving this perfection will somehow alleviate his suffering or bring him closer to some twisted form of justice. He is relentless and cunning, using his modified tools and explosive abilities to hunt down survivors.

In gameplay, Joker is a mobile hunter, capable of quickly traversing the map with his rocket dash and deploying explosives to disrupt and incapacitate survivors. His gameplay emphasizes aggressive pursuit and control over key areas of the map. The Smiling Clown's appearance and abilities reflect his shattered psyche and relentless pursuit of vengeance.
