Eddie Munson is a fictional character from the Netflix TV show Stranger Things. He first appeared in the opening episode of Season 4, titled "Chapter One: The Hellfire Club."
Munson, portrayed by actor Joseph Quinn, is the head of the Hawkins High School's Dungeons & Dragons club, the Hellfire Club. He is depicted as an eccentric, metalhead student often perceived as an outsider.
Throughout Season 4, Eddie becomes embroiled in the supernatural events plaguing Hawkins. He is initially suspected of a murder connected to the Upside Down but ultimately proves to be a courageous and loyal ally to the main characters.
