Randy Mario Poffo (November 15, 1952 – May 20, 2011), better known as "Macho Man" Randy Savage, was an American professional wrestler and actor.
Savage gained prominence in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) from 1985 to 1993, winning the WWF Championship twice and the Intercontinental Championship once. He was known for his flamboyant personality, raspy voice, elaborate ring attire, and his signature catchphrases such as "Ooh yeah!"
After leaving WWF, Savage joined World Championship Wrestling (WCW) from 1994 to 2000. In WCW, he won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship four times. He was a member of the New World Order (nWo) faction during his time there.
Beyond wrestling, Savage appeared in films and television, including his notable role as Bonesaw McGraw in Spider-Man (2002). He also released a rap album titled "Be a Man" in 2003.
Randy Savage was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.
