Tanjiro Kamado is the protagonist of the anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He first appeared in the initial episode of the anime adaptation.
After his family is brutally murdered by a demon, and his sister Nezuko is transformed into one, Tanjiro embarks on a journey to become a demon slayer. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps, dedicating himself to protecting humanity and finding a way to turn Nezuko back into a human.
Tanjiro is known for his kind heart, unwavering determination, and strong sense of justice.
