A Sontaran Trooper is a member of the Sontaran race, a clone warrior species central to the Doctor Who universe. They are characterized by their stocky build, brown leathery skin, and distinctive domed heads.

Sontarans are bred solely for war and possess a strong, unwavering sense of honour and duty rooted in their military discipline. They are fanatical about battle and strategy, viewing warfare as the ultimate purpose of their existence.

Often depicted as ruthless and aggressive, Sontaran Troopers are driven by a desire for conquest and military glory. Their cloning process creates a uniform and standardized army with a strong chain of command.

A notable vulnerability of Sontarans is a vent on the back of their neck. Direct damage to this area can be fatal, but the troopers are usually equipped with battle armor designed to protect it. However, it can still be a point of weakness when exploited.

Despite their militaristic nature, Sontarans are sometimes portrayed with a dark sense of humour. Sontaran Troopers are consistently presented as a formidable and recurring threat throughout the Doctor's adventures.
