General Restac is a recurring Sontaran character in the BBC science fiction series, Doctor Who. She is portrayed by multiple actors, most notably Anjli Mohindra in "The Sontaran Stratagem" and "The Poison Sky" (2008) alongside Christopher Ryan as General Staal.

Restac is typically depicted as a ruthless and ambitious Sontaran commander. Like all Sontarans, she is obsessed with war and victory for the Sontaran Empire. Her appearances usually involve leading invasion attempts or military operations on Earth or other planets. She is a dedicated soldier, demonstrating strategic thinking and a commitment to the Sontaran code of honor.

Although individual Sontarans are often presented as clones with similar personalities and motivations, Restac displays a degree of individual ambition and cunning, sometimes even challenging or undermining her superiors in pursuit of a military advantage. She represents the archetypal Sontaran warrior: unwavering in duty, single-minded in purpose, and relentlessly aggressive in the pursuit of conquest.
