Gorr the God Butcher, as portrayed by Christian Bale, is a character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

He makes his first appearance in the movie Thor: Love and Thunder. Driven by the loss of his family and his disillusionment with the gods, Gorr vows to kill all gods, believing them to be uncaring and selfish.

In the MCU version, Gorr wields the Necrosword, a weapon of immense power that allows him to kill gods. His motivations and methods make him a formidable and terrifying antagonist to Thor and the other gods.
