Gamma 1 is an android created by Dr. Hedo in the Dragon Ball Super storyline. He is one of two Gamma androids, the other being Gamma 2, and considers himself a superhero.
Initially, Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are led to believe that the Red Ribbon Army are the good guys fighting against evil invaders, i.e., the Z Fighters. Gamma 1 is stoic, serious, and intensely loyal to the Red Ribbon Army and Dr. Hedo.
Gamma 1 possesses immense speed and power, making him a formidable opponent. He wields energy blasts and demonstrates exceptional combat skills. He truly believes he is fighting for justice.
Eventually, through interactions with Gohan and others, Gamma 1 begins to question the Red Ribbon Army's motives and the true nature of their cause. His perception of justice undergoes a significant shift as he learns the truth.
After discovering the Red Ribbon Army's sinister intentions, Gamma 1, along with Gamma 2, ultimately sacrifice themselves to protect the Earth and its inhabitants. This sacrifice proves their willingness to fight for what's truly right.
