Nightshade, a DC Comics character, debuted in Suicide Squad #1 (2007). Real name Tiana Toomes, she is the daughter of Golden Age Flash villain, the Thinker (Clifford DeVoe), and the niece of the Vulture (Adrian Toomes) from Marvel Comics. The character is a result of a crossover event between DC and Marvel in the 2000s.
Tiana inherited her father's enhanced intelligence and a unique metagene. This metagene grants her shadow manipulation powers, including teleportation through shadows, intangibility, and the ability to create constructs of solid darkness. She can also access a "Shadowland" dimension, allowing for greater tactical advantages.
