Elite Squad Troopers, also known as Death Troopers, were an elite special forces unit of the Galactic Empire. Clad in specialized black armor, they were the bodyguards and enforcers of Director Orson Krennic, a high-ranking official within the Imperial Military.

These troopers were rigorously trained and highly skilled in combat, specializing in covert operations, counter-intelligence, and eliminating threats to the Empire. They were distinguished by their intimidating appearance, vocoders that distorted their voices, and a reputation for ruthlessness.

Death Troopers were often deployed on highly sensitive missions, operating with considerable autonomy. They were known for their proficiency with a variety of weapons and equipment, and their unwavering loyalty to the Empire.

While not Force-sensitive, their combat prowess and dedication made them formidable adversaries. They are most prominently featured in the film *Rogue One: A Star Wars Story*.
