Ripster, also known as John Bolton before his mutation, is one of the main characters from the Street Sharks cartoon series. He first appeared in the debut episode, "Shark Bait," of the first season.
Ripster is the brother of Clint, Bobby, and Coop Bolton. They were transformed into anthropomorphic sharks by Dr. Paradigm using a "gene-slamming" process. As Ripster, John possesses heightened strength, agility, and sharp teeth, allowing him to bite through metal.
Ripster is often considered the leader of the Street Sharks and is known for his intelligence and dedication to stopping Dr. Paradigm's evil schemes. His signature catchphrase is "Jawsome!".
