Suigetsu Hōzuki is a character from the anime series Naruto Shippuden. He first appears in episode KDL811. A former subject of Orochimaru's experiments, Suigetsu possesses the unique ability to transform his body into a liquid state, a technique derived from his clan's specialization in hydration.

He is recruited by Sasuke Uchiha to join his team, Hebi (later renamed Taka), with the primary goal of destroying Itachi Uchiha. Suigetsu's personal ambition is to collect all the swords belonging to the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, a legendary group of powerful swordsmen from his home village.

Throughout the series, Suigetsu acts as a foil to the more serious members of the team, providing comic relief with his sarcastic and carefree personality. While often portrayed as lazy and somewhat amoral, he is ultimately loyal to Sasuke and aids in the team's various missions, utilizing his unique abilities in combat and reconnaissance.
