Kirigakure Shinobi, more commonly known as Haku, was a prominent character from the Land of Water in the Naruto anime and manga series. Although presenting with a masculine appearance and referred to with male pronouns, Haku's gender identity is complex and debated within the fandom.

Haku possessed exceptional abilities derived from his unique Kekkei Genkai, the Ice Release (Hyōton), allowing him to create and manipulate ice. This skill stemmed from his lineage and was feared in his village, leading to his mother's death and his own forced exile.

He became a loyal and devoted follower of Zabuza Momochi, acting as Zabuza's weapon and protector. Haku's purpose revolved around serving Zabuza, whom he considered to be the only one who gave him purpose and prevented him from being alone. He viewed Zabuza as more than just a master; he was his savior and closest companion.

Haku is perhaps most well-known for his pivotal role in the Land of Waves arc. He served as a significant antagonist and ultimately sacrificed himself to protect Zabuza from Kakashi Hatake's Raikiri technique, demonstrating his unwavering loyalty and selfless devotion.
