Biography:
Cornelius Evazan, often referred to as Dr. Evazan, is a minor antagonist from the original Star Wars trilogy, specifically Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.
He is a physically scarred and mentally unstable former surgeon known for his violent tendencies and affinity for causing trouble. In the Mos Eisley cantina, he confronts Luke Skywalker, aggressively stating his dislike for him.
Evazan is accompanied by his equally menacing partner, Ponda Baba. Their aggression leads to a confrontation with Obi-Wan Kenobi, who swiftly disarms and injures Baba to protect Luke.
Little is known about Evazan's past beyond his reputation as a rogue surgeon and his penchant for criminal activity. He briefly reappears in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, confirming his continued involvement in the galaxy's underworld.
