IG-11 is a bounty hunter droid featured in the Star Wars television series, The Mandalorian, which premiered on Disney+.
He is an IG-series assassin droid, known for his deadly efficiency and self-destruct mechanism. IG-11 is initially programmed to eliminate Grogu, a Force-sensitive child also known as "The Child", but is reprogrammed later in the series.
After being repaired and reprogrammed by Kuiil, IG-11 develops a nurturing personality, committed to protecting Grogu at all costs. He plays a crucial role in defending Grogu and the Mandalorian, Din Djarin, from Imperial forces.
