Gallic Villager is a fictional character, often unnamed or referred to by occupational names, appearing throughout the Asterix comic book series created by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.

These villagers are residents of a small, independent village in Armorica (modern-day Brittany), the only place in Gaul that hasn't been conquered by Julius Caesar and the Roman Empire.

While varying in personality, Gallic Villagers are typically portrayed as fiercely independent, proud, and possessing a strong sense of community. They are often quick-tempered, prone to fighting, and deeply patriotic, defending their village against Roman legions and other perceived threats.

A key element of their resistance is a magic potion brewed by the druid Getafix, which grants them superhuman strength. These unnamed villagers are essential to the Asterix stories, forming the backdrop and showcasing the collective spirit of the Gaulish resistance.
