Cross Country, born Robert J. Morelli in Charleston, West Virginia, is a prominent member of the G.I. Joe Team, specializing in armored vehicle operation and repair. His primary function is as a tank driver and mechanic.

Prior to joining G.I. Joe, Morelli worked as a diesel mechanic. His expertise in engines and armored vehicles made him a valuable asset to the team, particularly in maintaining and piloting the H.A.V.O.C. (Heavily Armored Vehicle Obstacle Crusher).
