G.I. Joe

Pythona is a prominent villain in the G.I. Joe franchise, particularly within the animated series G.I. Joe: The Movie. She serves as a high-ranking member of Cobra-La, a secret, ancient civilization hidden in the Himalayas. This pre-historic society stands apart from Cobra, and views mankind as inferior.

As Cobra-La's ideological enforcer, Pythona is charged with maintaining the society's archaic beliefs. Her role involves propaganda, brainwashing, and generally ensuring that Cobra-La remains isolated and supreme. She is intensely loyal to Golobulus, the supreme ruler of Cobra-La.

Pythona's physical appearance is striking. She has green skin, snake-like eyes, and a generally reptilian cast to her features. Her personality is cold, calculating, and fiercely dedicated to her cause.

Although powerful within Cobra-La, Pythona is ultimately defeated when G.I. Joe and Cobra join forces against the common threat posed by Golobulus and his society. Her fate following the collapse of Cobra-La is not definitively revealed.
