G.I. Joe

Roadblock, born Marvin Hinton in Newport News, Virginia, is a key member of the G.I. Joe team. Serving as the team's heavy machine gunner and combat cook, he is renowned for his immense strength, both physical and moral.

Before joining G.I. Joe, Hinton initially aspired to become a gourmet chef, attending culinary school and working in various restaurants. However, he enlisted in the military after deciding he wanted to use his size and strength to protect others. He quickly distinguished himself in combat and was recruited by G.I. Joe.

Roadblock is characterized by his rhyming speech patterns, which he uses as a mnemonic device to remember weapon specifications and other crucial information.
