B.A.T., short for Battle Android Trooper, is a Cobra android soldier introduced in the G.I. Joe toyline. He debuted in 1986 and has become a recurring enemy.
Designed by Dr. Mindbender, the B.A.T. is a relentless and disposable troop. His primary function is to overwhelm G.I. Joe forces with sheer numbers and firepower.
Early versions of the B.A.T. are easily identified by their distinctive appearance: a yellow and black color scheme with interchangeable weapon attachments for their arms. This allows them to adapt to different combat situations.
