Recondo, whose real name is Wayne R. Sneeden, is a fictional character from the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toyline, comic books, and animated series. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Recondo is the G.I. Joe Team's jungle warfare expert and point man.

Prior to joining G.I. Joe, Recondo served in the U.S. Army as a Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol (LRRP) specialist, mastering survival skills, tracking, and navigation in dense environments.
