Evil Macaque, also known as the Six-Eared Macaque, is a prominent antagonist in the LEGO Monkie Kid series. He is a powerful, ancient demon with a deep-seated jealousy and resentment towards Sun Wukong, the Monkey King.
His abilities mirror Wukong's, including shapeshifting, immense strength, and the ability to control shadows. The Six Ears he possesses grant him enhanced hearing, allowing him to eavesdrop and manipulate situations from afar. This enhanced hearing also allows him to hear thoughts, especially of his enemies, but it becomes his weakness as he hears too many voices and becomes mentally unstable.
Driven by a desire to prove himself superior, Evil Macaque frequently schemes to undermine and usurp Wukong's legacy. He actively seeks to corrupt and manipulate Monkie Kid, attempting to steer him towards the dark side and away from his destiny as the successor to the Monkey King. While he is generally malevolent, hints of a past connection and shared history with Wukong suggest a more complex relationship than simple rivalry.
