The T-1000 is a fictional character from the Terminator franchise, first appearing in the film Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991). Created by James Cameron and William Wisher, the T-1000 is an advanced Terminator prototype.
Unlike the original Terminator (T-800), the T-1000 is composed of liquid metal (mimetic polyalloy), granting it shapeshifting abilities.
