Spongebob Squarepants

SpongeBob SquarePants is the titular character of the animated Nickelodeon television series of the same name. He is a yellow sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom.

SpongeBob works as a fry cook at the Krusty Krab restaurant, where he is known for his exceptional skill in making Krabby Patties. He is perpetually optimistic and enthusiastic, often to the annoyance of his neighbor, Squidward Tentacles.

SpongeBob's best friend is Patrick Star, a pink starfish. He is known for his childlike innocence, infectious laughter, and unwavering dedication to his friends.

Created by marine science educator and animator Stephen Hillenburg, SpongeBob first appeared in the episode "Help Wanted" on May 1, 1999. The character has since become a global icon, featured in numerous television episodes, movies, video games, and merchandise.
