Biography:
Raphael is one of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, recognizable by his red mask and twin sai weapons. He is often depicted as the most aggressive and headstrong of the group, known for his rebellious attitude and quick temper.
His first appearance was in the original *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles* comic book, published in 1984 by Mirage Studios. He, like his brothers, was mutated into a humanoid turtle by exposure to mutagenic ooze.
Despite his anger, Raphael is fiercely loyal to his brothers and Splinter, their rat sensei. Underneath his tough exterior lies a sensitive side and a deep-seated desire to protect those he cares about.
