Donatello is one of the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, known for his intelligence, inventing skills, and proficiency with the bo staff. This version of Donatello, often coded KF6125 in some merchandise, is specifically recognizable from the TMNT movies.
His first movie appearance was in the 1990 film, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In this film and subsequent sequels, Donatello is portrayed as the tech-savvy turtle, often tinkering with gadgets and providing the team with technical solutions to their problems. While all the turtles love pizza, Donatello has been known to add less conventional toppings to his slices.
He is the least confrontational of the brothers, often preferring to use his intellect to solve problems rather than resorting to physical violence. He and his brothers live in the sewers of New York and are trained in Ninjutsu by their rat sensei, Splinter.
