Deviant (Buildable) is a Build-A-Figure character from the Marvel Legends toy line, based on the Deviants from Marvel Comics. While he doesn't represent a single, specific Deviant character from the comics, he embodies the generic, monstrous forms that are characteristic of the Deviant race.

The Deviants are an evolutionary offshoot of humanity, created by the Celestials during their experiments on early Earth. Their forms are unstable and varied, resulting in grotesque and often monstrous appearances. This "Buildable" Deviant figure is representative of these varied and often monstrous forms that the Deviants have. These characters are often depicted as antagonists to the Eternals, another race created by the Celestials, who represent stability and perfection.
