Deidara is a fictional character from the popular manga and anime series, Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto.
He is a rogue ninja originally from Iwagakure (Hidden Stone Village), known for his unique Explosive Clay. He shapes the clay with his mouths located in his palms and on his chest, infusing it with chakra to create living bombs.
Deidara's fighting style revolves around his "Art is an Explosion!" philosophy, believing that true art is a fleeting, destructive force. He is often arrogant and prone to underestimating his opponents.
He defects from Iwagakure after stealing a kinjutsu (forbidden technique) and later joins the Akatsuki, a criminal organization seeking to capture all the Tailed Beasts. Within Akatsuki, he is initially partnered with Sasori, another artist, and later with Tobi (Obito Uchiha).
Deidara eventually meets his end in a battle against Sasuke Uchiha. Refusing to accept defeat and driven by his artistic pride, he uses his ultimate technique, C0, detonating himself in a massive explosion in a final attempt to kill Sasuke.
