Naruto

Nagato was a prominent character in the Naruto manga and anime series. Born in Amegakure during a time of war, he possessed the Rinnegan, a powerful and legendary dojutsu (eye technique) inherited from the Sage of Six Paths.

Orphaned at a young age, Nagato, alongside his friends Yahiko and Konan, formed the Akatsuki, a group initially aimed at bringing peace to Amegakure through non-violent means. Following Yahiko's death, orchestrated by Danzo Shimura and Hanzō, Nagato was manipulated by Obito Uchiha and embraced a more radical approach to achieving peace.

Driven by grief and believing that pain was the only way to force people to understand each other, Nagato, under the alias of Pain, became the leader of a reformed Akatsuki. This Akatsuki sought to collect all the Tailed Beasts to create a weapon powerful enough to instill fear and prevent future wars.

Ultimately, after battling Naruto Uzumaki, Nagato was moved by Naruto's unwavering belief in peace and his determination to break the cycle of hatred. Realizing the error of his ways, Nagato used his remaining strength to revive those he had killed in the attack on Konoha, sacrificing himself in the process.
