Naruto

Kakuzu is a prominent antagonist from the anime and manga series, Naruto. He is a high-ranking member of the Akatsuki organization, partnered with Hidan.

Originally from Takigakure, Kakuzu was tasked with assassinating the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju. He failed this mission and, upon returning to his village, was severely punished. This led him to develop a deep hatred and resentment towards Takigakure.

Kakuzu subsequently mastered a technique called Earth Grudge Fear, which allows him to steal the hearts of others and integrate them into his own body. This grants him multiple lives and access to various nature transformations. He can control his stolen hearts using threads that extend from his body.

Driven by greed and a desire for wealth, Kakuzu often took on bounty hunting missions. His pragmatic nature and focus on financial gain contrasted sharply with Hidan's religious zealotry, creating a complex and often volatile dynamic between the two.

Kakuzu's ultimate demise came at the hands of Naruto Uzumaki, who used his newly developed Wind Release: Rasenshuriken to destroy all of Kakuzu's hearts, ending his reign of terror.
