Biography:
Omni-Man, whose Viltrumite name is Nolan Grayson, is a central character in the Image Comics series Invincible, created by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker. He is the father of Mark Grayson, the titular Invincible.
Nolan initially presents himself to Earth as a benevolent alien from the utopian planet Viltrum, sent to protect Earth from extraterrestrial threats. He quickly becomes Earth's greatest superhero, revered and trusted by all.
However, his true purpose is revealed to be the subjugation of Earth for the Viltrumite Empire, a powerful warrior race dedicated to galactic conquest through force. He is a highly skilled and ruthless warrior, possessing superhuman strength, speed, durability, and flight, common attributes of Viltrumites.
His internal conflict between his Viltrumite duty and his growing affection for his human family, particularly his son Mark, forms a major storyline in the series. He grapples with the morality of his actions and the devastating consequences of his betrayals.
