Sarah Louise Kerrigan is a central character in the StarCraft universe, first appearing in the original StarCraft game released in 1998.
Initially a Terran Ghost, a psychic assassin in the service of the Confederacy, Kerrigan was betrayed and abandoned to the Zerg Swarm during the invasion of Chau Sara.
The Zerg Overmind captured and transformed Kerrigan into a powerful, unique being known as the Queen of Blades. This transformation drastically altered her personality and appearance, granting her immense psychic powers and control over the Zerg.
As the Queen of Blades, Kerrigan became a major antagonist, driven by vengeance and a desire for domination. Later, her character arc evolves, leading to a complex role in the ongoing conflict and ultimately her transformation back into a human and later ascending to become a Xel'Naga.
