Hagoromo Otsutsuki, also known as the Sage of Six Paths, is a pivotal figure in the Naruto universe. First appearing in *Naruto Shippuden* episode 419, his backstory is revealed as central to the ninja world's origins. He is voiced by Fred Tatasciore in the English dub.
He and his twin brother Hamura, are sons of Kaguya Otsutsuki. They challenged and ultimately sealed her away, saving the world from her tyranny. This event led to Hagoromo becoming revered as a savior and a god-like figure.
Hagoromo's greatest accomplishment was spreading the concept of Ninshu, which he believed would connect people spiritually. This later evolved into Ninjutsu. He also created the nine Tailed Beasts from the Ten-Tails' chakra, aiming to prevent its power from being misused again.
Before his death, Hagoromo divided his power between his two sons, Indra and Asura.
