Leonard Snart, also known as Captain Cold, is a prominent villain and anti-hero in the DC Comics universe. Born in Central City, Snart endured an abusive father and sought escape in petty crime.
His criminal career escalated when he acquired a cryogenic gun, allowing him to generate absolute-zero temperatures. This weapon, invented by a scientist hoping to stop The Flash, gave Snart the power to freeze objects and create ice constructs, becoming Captain Cold.
Initially a staunch enemy of The Flash (Barry Allen), Snart formed the Rogues, a collective of supervillains operating under a strict code of honor, albeit one centered around criminal activity. They prioritized strategy and teamwork, avoiding unnecessary collateral damage.
