Biography:

Regan MacNeil is a fictional character primarily known from the horror film The Exorcist (1973). She is a 12-year-old girl living in Washington D.C. with her actress mother, Chris MacNeil.

Regan begins to exhibit increasingly disturbing and bizarre behavior, initially attributed to psychological distress. Medical examinations prove inconclusive, leading Chris to seek other explanations.

As Regan's condition worsens, she displays signs of demonic possession, speaking in different voices, demonstrating immense strength, and performing disturbing acts. The film centers around the efforts of two Catholic priests to exorcise the demon, Pazuzu, that has possessed her.
