Biography:
Sally is a rag doll character from the stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy film, The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993), directed by Henry Selick and produced/co-conceived by Tim Burton.
Sally is created by Dr. Finkelstein, a mad scientist who keeps her confined. Despite her captivity, she is intelligent and resourceful, frequently using her own detachable limbs and self-made poisons to escape and explore.
She possesses precognitive abilities, often receiving visions of impending doom, which motivates her to try and prevent Jack Skellington's ill-fated attempt to take over Christmas. Sally is deeply in love with Jack and constantly worries about his well-being, often going to great lengths to protect him.
