Ban, also known as Bandit Ban or Undead Ban, is a prominent character from the anime and manga series, The Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai).

He is one of the titular Seven Deadly Sins, representing the Sin of Greed. Ban gained immortality after drinking from the Fountain of Youth, guarded by Elaine, whom he falls in love with. He initially sought the Fountain for selfish reasons, but his interactions with Elaine change him.

Ban's fighting style relies heavily on his ability, "Snatch," which allows him to steal physical abilities and objects. His Immortality grants him incredible durability and regeneration, making him extremely difficult to defeat. He wields the Sacred Treasure Courechouse in the past, a four-section staff, but often prefers to fight unarmed.

Beyond his power, Ban is known for his laid-back and somewhat selfish personality, though he deeply cares for his comrades, particularly Meliodas and Elaine. His past experiences have shaped him into a complex character grappling with guilt and a desire for redemption.
