Balloon Boy, designated BB, is an animatronic character featured in the survival horror game Five Nights at Freddy's 2.

His primary function within the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza establishment is seemingly to hand out balloons to children. He has a round face, brown hair, and a signature red-and-blue striped shirt. He carries a red balloon and a sign that reads "Balloons!".

In-game, Balloon Boy does not directly attack the player. Instead, his presence is disruptive. He crawls through the left vent and, upon entering the office, disables the player's flashlight and prevents the use of the front-facing ventilation door. This makes the player vulnerable to other, more aggressive animatronics, most notably Foxy.

Balloon Boy's unsettling laughter is a key auditory cue that he is approaching, and his subsequent disabling of the flashlight is a major source of frustration for players. He is a controversial character within the Five Nights at Freddy's fandom, due to his perceived lack of threat combined with his ability to indirectly cause the player's demise.
