Leona is a significant character in the video game series, The King of Fighters (KOF), and also appears in the spin-off series, Metal Slug. A stoic and highly skilled mercenary, Leona is known for her lethal combat abilities and tragic backstory.
Born Leona Heidern, her life was irrevocably altered when the Orochi blood within her awakened, causing her to inadvertently destroy her village and kill her family. This event left her emotionally scarred and struggling to control her inherited Orochi power.
Following the tragedy, she was adopted by Commander Heidern, who trained her as a formidable Ikari Warrior.
